It’s always exciting when our old friend Rolf Nylinder releases a new video, especially when it features another pal, Håvard Stubø of Jazz and Fly Fishing. Rolf has a unique voice as a filmmaker, and his storytelling is exceptional. Here, two anglers—Håvard and Markus Lemke—travel to a valley in Swedish Lapland, where they battle constant winds from the north, which make fishing impossible. The two men deal with this problem in different ways, and when the wind finally abates, one is ready to make the most of it. Is there a profound message behind this tale? You be the judge.
PS: Don’t miss Håvard’s latest film in last week’s Friday Fly Fishing Film Festival.
