With the nation having recently remembered service and sacrifice on Veterans Day, Golden Moon Distillery recently announced the release of their Colorado Single Malt – Veterans Cask No. 1.
This new expression is a single cask of their American single malt whiskey produced and bottled to benefit Warriors and Quiet Waters, a non-profit group that guides post-9/11 combat veterans and their loved ones to thrive and find peace, meaning, and purpose through fly fishing and other inspirational activities in nature.
Veterans Cask No. 1 is a single-cask, limited-release American single malt that’s distilled from 100-percent malted barley grown in Colorado and surrounding states and malted in Golden, Colorado.
The whiskey is aged for a minimum of one year in new oak casks, and then finished in used oak casks. The limited bottles are available now at select retailers and from ReserveBar.
Golden Moon is a service-disabled, veteran-owned business that employs post-9/11 veterans, including founder and master distiller, Stephen Gould.
