Welcome to another edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got ten brand-new questions about famous rivers, angling literature, and fly identification.
The last quiz again produced no perfect scores, but there were seven 90%-ers. Congrats to Roger, Andy, Jim Ray, Joe Dunmire, JoeG, Len Persson, and Alan Burrows. Another nine people scored 80%, and the most common score fell to an all-time low: 40%. Only 18% of you knew that the first place that brown trout were stocked out of their range was Tasmania, Australia. I think you’ll find this week’s challenge a bit easier.
The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive a cool Trucker Hat. This is a new one, with a cool retro look, perfect for summertime wet-wading on a sunny day.
The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org)–who will also receive a Trucker Hat–is Steve D, who was “still wondering about the maribou coming from a turkey..??” Well, marabou storks are in Africa. Turkey makes a good, less expensive substitute.
Post your score below (or below the post on our Facebook page!) for a chance to win a great video.
Good luck!
