Cecilia M. (Morin) Sweet, 91, passed away peacefully on March 6 after a long, beautiful, well lived life. Born in Bristol, she worked at the State Capitol and was involved in numerous local social activities and committees for many years. She later moved to Englewood, Fla., creating a truly happy coastal life. There she remained active in the community and was a board member of The Manasota Key Association and was involved with fundraisers for The Venice hospital. She loved the outdoors, with a true passion and talent for fly fishing, even traveling internationally on fishing excursions. She lived life to its fullest, never wasting a day. Her love of entertaining, her welcoming hospitality and her appreciation of etiquette made every visit to her home memorable. Ceil will always be remembered for her remarkable beauty and charm, her enthusiasm for life, her profound eloquence and poise, but mostly for her love of family and friends. She was truly unforgettable. A private funeral Mass will be held by the family.
