Miss Freddye to present concert in Brackenridge

Trinity United Methodist Church, Brackenridge, will present Miss Freddye and her gospel band Glory Be in concert at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, 847 10th Ave.

Current CDC guidelines will be observed, and donations will be accepted.


Mailbox available at Springdale municipal building for letters to Santa

Children in Springdale can drop off their letter to Santa Claus in his mailbox located at the School Street entrance to the borough building, 325 School St.

Santa’s elves will pick up the letters and take them to Santa. Letters should include the child’s name and address. All letters dropped off by Dec. 17 will receive a reply.


Harvest Church to host Guy Penrod in concert

Gospel singer Guy Penrod and comedian Mickey Bell will perform a concert at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 at Harvest Church, 143 Reed Road, West Kittanning.

Venue doors open at 4:30 p.m. and auditorium doors will open at 5 p.m. Penrod was the former lead singer of the Gaither Vocal Band. Tickets are $27 and are available at harvestpa.org/events.
