Over the past couple of years, Tim Flagler of Tightline Productions has showed us how to tie the Intruder Leech and the Pine Squirrel Trout Spey Streamer, both of which make use of a shank and a trailing hook. He’s also offered a great primer on understanding shanks in general. This week, he demonstrates another great pattern that offers a ton of action in the water and performs particularly well fished trout-Spey style.

To learn more about trout Spey, check out one of the many posts on the subject, or the feature article Re-discover Your Home Water with a Trout-Spey Rod.
