Cue Alice Cooper’s popular song, “Schools Out For Summer” because, believe it or not, summer is upon us. As we head into the weeks of no school and long warm days, don’t let the dog days of summer pass you by without taking the time to enjoy activities and events with the family, friends or just by yourself.

Take a look at this week’s list of 22 events taking place for May 28 through June 3 in Greeley, Loveland, Cheyenne and around NoCo.

Saturday, May 28

1. The Boulder Creek Festival 2022 kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Boulder Bandshell, 1212 Canyon Blvd. The event will feature live music from local artists, food trucks, face painting, an artisan market and more. 2. Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson is hosting Big Bad Biker Bash from noon to 5 p.m. at 4250 Byrd Drive, Loveland. The event will include live music, a bikini contest, stunt riders, cigar bar and more. The free event is open to all ages. For more information, go to https://bit.ly/3wAry5E.

3. Saturday is market day at the Greeley Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to noon at The Depot, 902 7th Ave. The market features a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, arts and crafts and more. All ages are welcome to attend the free market. For more information, go to https://bit.ly/3PF5hv5.

4. Country artist Jon Wolfe will be taking the stage at 8 p.m. at The Outlaw Saloon, 312 S. Greeley Highway, Cheyenne, WY. Wolfe combines the styles of classic country with rock and roll that gets audience members out of their seats and dancing. 5. Sister Hazel and Deep Blue Something are scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. at The Stanley Hotel Concert Hall, 333 E. Wonderview Ave., Estes Park. Hailing from Gainesville, FL, Sister Hazel is comprised of five band members known for their skilled talents in country music. Tickets are $35 per person and all ages are welcome to attend. Sunday, May 29

6. Head up to the Estes Park for 13: The Séance at The Stanley Featuring Miss Krystyn Lambert at 10 p.m.  at 333 E. Wonderview Ave. The intimate and immersive theatrical experience will take place in the hotel’s new Stanley Séance Parlor and is limited to just 13 guests. 7. Don’t miss the last day of the Denver Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Conservatory Green, 8304 E. 49th Place, Denver. The show showcases fine arts and crafts from artists across Colorado and around the U.S. In addition to art, visitors can enjoy wine, beer and spirits, a kids zone, live music and more. 8. If you missed Greeley’s Farmers Market, don’t sweat it. The Fort Collins Farmers Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1001 E. Harmony Road with offerings of fresh vegetables and fruits, handmade items, flowers, eggs and dairy products, arts and crafts and more. The market is free and open to all ages. Tuesday, May 31

9. The Kress Cinema and Lounge has partnered with The Midnight Oil Bookstore for Life of Pi Book-to-Film at 6 p.m. at 817 8th Ave., Greeley. Guests of all ages are invited to attend the screening and tickets are $24.99 which includes a paperback copy of the book. Wednesday, June 1

10. Lindsay Mays from Moonrise Wellness will be performing Acudetox for guests at 7:15 p.m. at Balanced Movement Yoga, 802 9th St., Suite 102, Greeley. Acudetox involves placing five small stainless steel needles in five specific areas of the ear. Guests then spend 30-45 minutes mediating and relaxing. The procedure is a tool to benefit overall holistic wellness. The program is open to adults age 18 and older and tickets are $15 per person to attend. 11. Book a tour of the Cache La Poudre with Majestic Mountains Scenic Rides. The four and a half hour tour begins at the Park-n-Ride at Harmony and I-25 and will take guests up into the mountains to learn about the history and see wildlife. Thursday, June 2

12. The Kersey Community Center is hosting Stories from Under the Big Top Summer Theatre Camp beginning at 5:30 p.m. at 215 2nd St. The camp is open to children in grades 2-6 and camp fees are $60 per child. For more information, contact the Kersey Community Center at (970) 353-1681.

13. Improve your fly fishing knowledge by attending the Fly Fishing Entomology Seminar at 6:30 p.m. at Scheels, 4755 Ronald Reagan Blvd., Johnstown. The free seminar will teach fishers of all ages about the different bugs trout like, how to recognize these bugs, the bugs’ life cycle and the different ties associated with the bugs. 14. The Loveland Visitors Center is hosting Community Open House Kick Off to Summer from 2-6 p.m. at 5400 Stone Creek Circle. The free event invites people of all ages to come and take part in games, explore a fire truck, visit with representatives from the museum, library, Parks and Rec department and more. 15. The Windsor Summer Concert Series begins at 6:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park, 100 N. 5th St. with a 80s theme night. The 6 Million Dollar Band will be entertaining attendees of all ages and guests are invited to bring a picnic dinner, chairs, blankets and coolers out to the free event. 16. Calling all Swifties! The Aggie Theater is hosting Taylor Fest at 8 p.m. at 204 S. College Ave. in Fort Collins. Friday, June 3

17. George Gray and the Elvis Experience will be kicking off the Greeley Blues Jam celebration at 6:30 p.m. at the Moxi Theater, 802 9th St. Gray and crew is known for performing the best songs of rock and roll icon, Elvis Presley.  The free concert is open to all ages and is part of the Friday Fest event. 18. Treat your sweetie to Cheap Date Night at 7 p.m. at the Rialto Theater, 228 E. 4th St., Loveland. The weekly summer series will start off with a screening of the classic, “Singin’ In The Rain,” starring Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds. 19. Estes Park Ghost Tours returns for the season at 7:30 p.m. at The Taffy Shop, 121 W. Elkhorn Ave. with a two to three block tour of downtown. The tour, open to all ages, will talk about historic buildings and those that haunt them. Tickets are $20 for guests age 13 and older and $12 for children age 12 and younger. 20. The Colorado Medieval Festival returns at 3 p.m. at The Savage Woods, 1750 Savage Road, Loveland. The event will feature jousting, love music, comedians, belly dancers, princesses, fairies, food, beer and cider and more. 21. Downtown Fort Collins is hosting its First Friday Art Walk from 6-9 p.m. The free event is open to all ages and will take visitors around to local art galleries to view different types of art pieces including paintings, pottery, sculpture and mixed media works. 22. Cheyenne Presents Fridays on the Plaza Summer Music Festival kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at the Depot Plaza, 1 Depot Square W. 15th St with music by Jalan Crossland with The Low Road. Crossland is a nationally acclaimed acoustic guitarist, banjo players and singer-songwriter who was presented with the Governor’s Art Award in 2013. The free event is open to all ages.
